Monogramming

When deciding on which monogram to choose there are some guidelines to proper monogram etiquette that may help in your decision making. Whatever style you decide to choose know that a personalized gift will always be remembered.

A traditional monogram would typically be:  First Initial-Last Initial-Middle Initial. The last name initial is larger in the center flanked by smaller initials to the sides. For someone named Mary Elizabeth Smith her monogram would be MSE. A traditional monogram can be used for a man or woman.

Many women upon marriage, drop their middle name and add their husband's surname so, Paula Anne Smith is married to Jack Garcia her new monogram would be PGS.

You can also choose to put initials in natural order, which means that they would all be the same height. An example of this would be, Jack Hunter Smith would be JHS. This is typically used for a man.

When monogramming for a married couple the initials would go in the following order: First name of the wife- Last Name Initial- First name of the husband. So for a Colleen married to a Jack whose last name is Conner their monogram would be CCJ. Another option would be to use just a single initial to represent their last name.

An alternative to initials is you can just simply do a name,word or a street number. Use all upper or lowercase for a different look. Most importantly have fun and if your  not sure on what style to choose simply email us and we will be happy to help you decide.

 

Paper and Printing

Most of the simple note sets with an initial or name take three days in house after order submission. The invitations, lined stationery sets, return address envelopes or stickers take seven working days in house. Letterpress options take 10 working days to complete, plus shipping. The turnaround time will be listed in the description of each item.

Shipping & Returns

SHIPPING

Orders are typically processed and shipped between 5-10 business days via the shipping method of your choice. Because of the various products we offer, the production time varies from item to item. Each item will note the turn around time on the product description page. If you are ordering multiple items that take different time frames to processes, then your order will ship out when the last item  on your order is complete.  So, if you would like us to ship out your items separately because you need one sooner than the other please place a separate order for each item OR write your needs in the comments box when checking out, shipping fees will apply. We also offer a "Rush" Service that can expedite the processing of your item, see details per item.

Studio 26 ships all orders via UPS or USPS out of Southern California. If you choose USPS service your order will take from 2-3 business days from the time we ship. If you select to use UPS then your order will vary from 2-7 business days depending on your location within the states. See chart bellow for more details. Specific options and rates are determined by your shipping address zip code and the weight of your purchases. You may also choose to use expedited shipping.

SHIPPING TO P.O. BOXES (U.S. Postal Service only)
Orders to Post Office Boxes will be sent via U.S.P.S. Parcel Post. Expedited delivery options are not available for shipments to P.O. Box addresses.

 

 

 

 

All custom monogrammed items cannot be returned, unless, of course it a mistake we have made and we will do everything possible to get that corrected and to you in a timely manner. Because items cannot be returned or exchanged once they have been personalized, we ask you to please double check all spelling and dates prior to submitting your order. In the unfortunate event that there is a product defect, we will replace the item in question to you as soon as we can.Items that have not been personalized may be returned for merchandise credit within 15 days of receipt. Merchandise may be returned by mail.

 

 

SALES TAX

Studio 26 does not charge sales tax for orders outside of the state of California. In state orders will be charge a 9% tax fee.
